#1 Living The Blessed Life

Ed and Jam are back with the FIRST in a Summer Series on the Beatitudes. How do we have the best life? It's all about the blessed life. But what would your best day be? And would it involve pork pie's, like Jam's would? And what happens when the little ones come to Jesus? What can they teach us about the best life? We look at Mark 10:13-16. Plus a sketch, a quiz and a song from Slugs and Bugs. What could be better?

#2 Blessing in Sadness?

Ed and Jam are back with the second in the Summer Series on the Beatitudes. The best life is the blessed life - in the sad times too. When were you last really sad? And how do you make a dog sad? You might not like the answer! And what happens when a baby giraffe is born? And some weird facts about moths that drink the tears of birds... Plus the widow at Nain has a wonderful surprise thanks to Jesus.

#3 Seeking to be Meek

Meekness is not weakness! The best life is the blessed life - and we find out how Jesus shows us what meekness looks like. We think about taming wild animals, antelopes and Beefalo - and why you should NEVER try to ride a zebra. And we're in Luke Chapter 22, starting at verse 47 - and we wonder what the disciples made of it.

#4 Hungry and Thirsty

Ed and Jam are joined in the studio by Johnny, Freya and some Emperor Penguins. And we're looking at what it is to hunger and thirst for Christ, finding Anna in the Temple. She's 84!

#5 Mercy Me!

Ed and Jam are joined in the studio by Anna (Nicks) and Anna (Nukes) and we hear traumatic tales of holidays gone horribly wrong. And we think about what it means to be merciful, turning to that hero of that parable, The Good Samaritan.

#6 From a Distance

Jesus is so powerful, he could heal people from a distance. At least he can if you're pure in heart. Jam and Ed talk about what that means, along with tales of pure water and greetings from Chile. And when did you last get properly wet and muddy?

#7 A Piece of Cake

Don't we mean a piece of cake? Nope. Blessed are the Peacemakers. Especially with swindlers like Zaccheaus around. Shocking! He was such a bad tax collector, he might as well have put a tax on beards. That's just one of our fun facts. And when did you last have to say sorry?

#8 Locked Up

When were you last trapped, stuck or locked in? Hear how Ed's babysitter ended up cracking an accidental escape room, and why you can't keep your donkey in a bath tub after 7pm in Alabama. AND how to live the BEST life aka The Blessed life. But we're going to meet opposition if we do what Jesus says. Blessed are the Persecuted, says Jesus, and Peter and John in Acts 4 find out what that really means.
