The Easter Story Brick by Brick

Launching 13th January 2026!

Join us in Matthew’s Gospel as we explore the story of Easter brick by brick. We follow the journey of King Jesus from warm welcome, to cruel cross, finishing with seeing his risen glory as we build up our understanding of the events of the first Easter and what it means for us today.

Launching 13th January 2026!

In this three week Lego-themed Sunday school series, we will see why Jesus is the brilliant king we all need:

  • Jesus arrives in Jerusalem on a donkey – he is the king God promised.
  • Jesus dies on a cross – he is the king who gave everything to save his people.
  • Jesus is alive again – he is the king who has beaten sin and death for us.

Our interactive all age service plan allows the whole church to join in and discover the forgiveness that our living king Jesus offers, even to those who have not loved him as he deserves. Featuring Bible readings, video, songs and engaging explanations, this could be ideal for your Easter Sunday service and can be used alone, even if the other lessons haven’t been taught. We also have a plan for a Lego-themed family fun day that explores the Easter story whilst enjoying lots of building fun – why not invite your community to come and join you?

Our family digital devotional launching in March will help families to explore the Easter story together at home. Find the objects hidden in three colourful, digital Lego scenes and hear the Easter story read from the Bible as you go. Families can then enjoy as many of the optional activities as they like: videos, craft, colouring, podcasts or a simple Bible study – the choice is yours! This is an excellent and easy way for families to engage with the Bible this Easter, even if they have never done this before.

Our resources have been created in conjunction with The Good Book Company and Go Chatter and together we offer various ways to share the wonderful truth of Easter with your church and community. Go Chatter’s bright and colourful LEGO Easter Story video is a fantastic resource to incorporate into your Easter services or to show at a kids club or in an assembly. The Easter Story Brick by Brick book has been published by The Good Book Company and is ideal to give away to families so that they can continue the adventure at home.

Let’s meet King Jesus together and build-up the good news of the first Easter brick by brick!
